Peacekeeping is a lifesaving undertaking. It is vital for fostering global peace and stability and has contributed to reducing the number of ongoing wars in the last three decades. Since the end of the Cold War, Peace interventions have grown massively into a complex global undertaking resulting in traditional peacekeeping being under tremendous strain.
